Bugle Silver Band play in Tea Gardens
Regular weekend lunchtime brass and silver band sessions are held on the lawn outside the Tea Shop.The next will be on Saturday 26th July when the Bugle Silver Band will perform a wide range of music from classical to pop between 1pm and 3pm.
The next confirmed date is Saturday 23rd August - 1pm to 3pm.
Delicious home made food
Sited in a leafy corner close to the garden entrance and overlooking the Plant Centre is the Tea Shop, where a distinctive catering service can be enjoyed whether or not you are visiting the garden itself.Morning coffee, light lunches and cream teas are served in this informal setting which has outside seating in fine weather.
The food is all home cooked using local ingredients. The tea shop aspires to be the antithesis of a modern fast food outlet and this approach is obviously popular as it increasingly becomes a destination in its own right for locals as well as visitors from further afield.
