Café
Nestled at the entrance of Trewithen Gardens, Da Bara in the Gardens serves their famous bakes: cakes, bread, and of course, cinnamon buns. Freshly brewed coffee, light lunches, and traditional Cornish cream teas await.
We’re delighted to welcome Da Bara Bakery to Trewithen this season, bringing their much-loved bakery to the gardens, in what many of you will fondly remember as the Tea Shed. It’s a joy to welcome Ben and Michelle back to the Roseland area - they’ve been sorely missed since their St Mawes cafe closed, and we’re delighted that visitors can now enjoy their bakes here in the gardens. An irresistible selection of freshly baked cakes, cream teas, and pastries await, including their infamous cinnamon rolls. Whilst you’re here, browse the shelves, filled with gorgeous goods for your pantry, from fresh bread loaves, to Cornish ketchup and homemade granola.
Da Bara in the Gardens opens on our Spring Preview Day on Saturday 28th February and will be open daily throughout the season.
Our reinstated ticket office — the little shed on your left as you enter the gardens — is once again the place to purchase your garden tickets, and we look forward to welcoming you here. While you’re there, take a moment to browse our plants and a hand-picked selection of Cornish gifts, thoughtfully chosen to support local artisans and small businesses.
