Garden tours

Our garden tours are a fantastic opportunity to explore Trewithen with the people that know it best. With a guide to lead you, you’ll find out more about our rare and remarkable specimens, the history of the gardens, and the predecessors that shaped the grounds we see today.

We run group garden tours from March to September each year. After your tour, you can wander and enjoy the gardens for as long as you like.

Tours cost £200 (plus garden entry) for a group of up to 12, and pre-booking is essential. Private tours

Starting in spring 2024, we’re also pleased to offer tailored private tours. These can be booked in or out of season (all year round) and include a family guided tour of the house, and a Head Gardener’s tour of the gardens, as well as lunch and tea.

And, because these tours are just for you, we can design them around your interests and needs – just let us know what you’d like to cover, and we’ll work with you to create something that fits.
