Tea Shed
Enjoy fresh, seasonal food in the natural surroundings of Trewithen Gardens.
Our Tea Shed is found in a leafy opening close to the garden entrance. It’s a welcoming and peaceful spot, with indoor and outdoor seating and visiting wildlife.
Though we call it a “Shed”, it’s really a lot more: the café serves fresh, homemade food, including light lunches from 12pm-2pm and generous cream teas. Options usually feature wholesome favourites like soups, salads, and hearty quiches, as well as a good selection of cakes.
While you’re here, you can also browse our hand-picked selection of Cornish gifts and produce, supporting local artisans and small businesses.
The Tea Shed is cashless, so we welcome payments by card only.
Opening times and parking
We are open seven days a week, from 10am to 4pm, 1st March to 30th September. Free parking is available in the main car park for Trewithen Gardens, and well-behaved dogs on leads are very welcome. You don’t need a garden ticket to visit the Tea Shed.
