This waxy pink marbled white Magnolia flower also has a sweet, delicate citrus scent to the flowers. We had this wrongly identified as M.aff.dandyii when first bought from Crûg Farm plants. The collection number assigned was also wrong and for a yellow Magnolia not a pink white marbled one! a bit of botanical digging and referring to collection notes later Sue and Bleddyn Wynn-Jones gave us the correct details and name . This shows the importance of good plant record keeping plus regular checking. Plants names also change so it keeps us on our toes!
